I’m doctor Albert Mendelson, MD and I am an experienced board certified American radiologist practicing in a large multi specialty medical group in the greater Chicagoland area of the US.  I have an interest in writing and medical education.  Often medical imaging reports are hard to understand not just for patients, but for non radiology physicians.  Medical imaging guides diagnosis and treatment for numerous conditions in modern medicine.

My goal is to try to explain the content of radiology reports in plain English.  Medical imaging is complex, and only your physician can interpret and apply the information from reports to your particular case.  My goal is for you to gain knowledge about your report and condition so that you can be more informed when discussing with your physician.
